Heritage of London Trust is dedicated to supporting young people through heritage. We offer work experience opportunities throughout the year. You’ll get up close to London’s history, have a chance to network with an amazing team and learn about our work. Get in touch to find out more.

What’s involved? 

 

You may visit our projects to see the work we’re doing or assist Proud Places officers with interactive visits out at projects and in schools/youth centres. And you’ll have opportunities to learn from our partners, e.g. specialist stone carvers, gilders or blacksmiths (you may even get the chance to have a go yourself!)

• Are happy to express their opinions clearly (we’ll provide the info, you provide your thoughts!) 

• Have an interest in young peoples’ voices being heard in London

Expenses

​

For the duration of the work experience placement, we cover costs towards travel to site visits. Individuals are expected to facilitate themselves to/from work and for lunch. We have a kitchen available on site with a refrigerator and microwave. We are also a 5-minute walk away from Victoria station food courts with a variety of shops and restaurants.
