Creating
Curiosity

Proud Places gives fresh eyes on familiar places that make up Heritage of London Trust's restoration projects. By encouraging creative responses young people become expert ‘storytellers’ at school and at home.

Building
Skills

We run creative workshops inside spaces, where young people explore history, science and art through our projects. These bring the subjects alive and make a tangible connection to their heritage.

Breaking
Barriers

Young people across London struggle with a lack of employment confidence and opportunities. For older groups, Proud Places includes mentoring and skills workshops at global law firm Jones Day.

Instilling
Pride

The programme invites young people to take an active part in each project, encouraging a sense of ownership of where they live.
