Building
Pride

Proud Places is based on the Heritage of London Trust’s restoration projects across the city. The programme invites young people to take an active part in each project, encouraging a sense of ownership of where they live.

Creating

Curiosity

Proud Places gives each pupil fresh eyes on familiar places. By encouraging creative responses young people become expert ‘storytellers’ at school and at home.

Enriching
Learning

We run creative workshops in schools, where pupils explore history, science and art through our projects. These bring the subjects alive and make a tangible connection to their heritage.

Enhancing

Careers

Young people across London struggle with a lack of employment confidence and opportunities. For older pupils, Proud Places includes mentoring and skills workshops at global law firm Jones Day.
